January Comic Discussion Thread

Remember when your parents told you your dog got sent to a farm? This is that farm, except it's full of old monthly discussion threads.

...and poor Spider Butt Guy is still just sitting there. Uncured, or unmolested?

He... is not a very good doctor.

Not a very good doctor at all. In fact, the dude is a nutjob. I mean, he ignores the ill patient to make a healthy patient ill.

And, in fact, neither one of them are HIS patients.

It's like, McLuchador is the Fire Marshal Bill of medicine. He steps in a room, and instantly we're all his patients, and then he starts "treating" us. . . .

As if the predecessor was into his S.T.A.R.T. model of triage and Hippocratic Oath?

We should totally do a thread on the best violations of each line of the Hippocratic Oath for the doc.

You know, if a McLuchador mask were available to buy online, it would be very tempting to buy...

I had Yakety Sax playing in my head during this comic. For no reason whatsoever.

That song works in just about any kind of mayhem. I used it to provide background texture for a pie-throwing activity last year.

Pie-throwing? And what was this gustatory combat in honor of?

Ever heard of YMCA Adventure Princesses (used to be Indian Princesses before the ACLU threatened to sue)? I'm involved with our local group and at the last campout of the year after the new Marshal (formerly the Chief) is appointed, an announcement is made regarding the outcome of Partners' Campaign (a fundraiser allowing lower-income families to participate in Y activities). If the goal has been met -- and it always has been -- the outgoing Marshal undergoes some sort of humiliation at the hands of the girls. So picture a dude running around in a leather vest and a cowboy hat, being chased by approximately 200 little girls aged 5-9, each holding a cream pie (or a reasonable facsimile thereof).

It's a fair bit of chaos.

Man, you sure know how to live it up. Sounds cool. Durn ACLU, always being a spoilsport.
