October Discussion Thread

Remember when your parents told you your dog got sent to a farm? This is that farm, except it's full of old monthly discussion threads.

Arkham City, more likely.

Then again the Arkham series takes a lot of design influence from Bioshock.

Maybe Radical didn't know about Mikey.

I like the cranky elderly King Radical. I didn't trust him at first, but his snarkyness has grown on me.

After a speech like that, there was only one reason for Doc to go back in time and kill that dino scout, and only King Radical could remind him what that reason was.

I'm guessing that the speech made the Nasaghast go back to the NASA building without killing Doc?

Hey, Owen, I'm still doubling down on Barney, but man, this is going to be one long double-down. Unless I'm mistaken, we're going into the third part of a trilogy. That's a long time to wait around for Barney. . . .

Then let's write him off as yet another tragic victim of the senseless violence Dr McNinja is about to go into the past and prevent :(

If that were the case, then I implore Hastings to depict to us the details of this poetic justice for all the tortured parents through the 90s. . . .

Maybe there was a court case? Maybe Barney was tried in Dino-Court? . . .

Wait; if the Ultimate Diplomat mind-warps everyone with his presence, how did the President ever lock him away? Further, how could have the dinos ever had any hostile intentions in the first place?

I presume they schemed from afar when he wasn't around, because they were resenting the uneasy truce with humans. Using some rapid strike force (quote possibly the raptors) they might have caught him off guard and knocked him out before he could speak, thereby being able to capture him and lock him away.

I'm excited to see what happens this week, albeit a bit sad that this particular adventure is over (I hopped on toward the beginning of this chapter)... but I gotta admit, it seems to be ending a lot quicker than I imagined. The lead-up to the UD's release was moving at a slow but exciting pace... and now that hes out, it was like, BAM, right back to the portal and time to go. I would have liked to see some more post-UD, pre-portal interaction with the Dr. and the remaining trio.

But at the same time, I'm happy it's almost over, since man, that took a while.

there seems to be a lot of panel related alt text lately. or at least in two pages that were sort of close to each other. Maybe it's some kind of family reunion.

Also King Radical is up to something confirmed. Dr mcninja can be kind of terrible sometimes. I think he's determined to make king radical his joker or ra'as al ghul or something. maybe he is ra'as, with a court jester who is the joker.
